The Mentee Podcast

This week you get to hear some more behind-the-scenes work that I did with Jeremy Thiel, who recently launched his new podcast Amplify. During a recent coaching session, Jeremy asked me how I monetized The Mentee - and of course I recorded the whole thing. Enjoy!

I sit back and reflect on the most important aspects behind The Mentee as I search for someone to take over for Season 2. One thing I’ve learned recently is the power of building a system and then stepping away, not only to let someone else run what I’ve created, but for them to receive value out of the structure that’s already in place. This is at the forefront of my mind as I search for the new mentee and the host of the next season of the podcast.

Please, let me know your BIGGEST takeaways from the podcast, the things that you just couldn’t live without from episode to episode. Leave a comment or send me an email; I would love to hear your feedback.

What does it take to grow a $100M company by age 26? The backbone of that growth, as you can probably guess, is the importance of mentorship. Jessica Mah was introduced to me by Mike Dillard (episodes 47 & 71), and at the time of our call I honestly had no idea of her company or her success… I just wanted to honor Mike’s intro and get to know her. We really went down the rabbit hole on this chat, so enjoy episode 101!

I've asked my producer Cody to keep a stockpile of the silly things I ended up recording behind-the-scenes, and now that we've hit 100 episodes we wanted to share this very first blooper reel with you. Enjoy!
